Corvallis Farmers’ Market: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays and Wednesdays, 1st and Jackson, Corvallis (on the riverfront). Runs April-November.

Corvallis Indoor Winter Market: 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays, 110 SW 53rd St., Corvallis (in Guerber Hall at the Benton County Fairgrounds). Runs January-April.

Lebanon Downtown Farmers’ Market: 2-6 p.m. Thursdays, Grant & Main, Lebanon (parking lot near Chase Bank). Runs May-October.

Brownsville Farmers’ Market: 3-7 p.m.Thursdays, Park & Main, Brownsville (across from City Hall). Runs June-October.

Sweet Home Farmers’ Market: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays, Hwy 20 & Hwy 228 (in the Thriftway parking lot). Runs June-September.

Sweet, sweet strawberries. Crisp apples. Fresh corn on the cob. Hearty grains. Grass-fed meat. Is your mouth watering yet? These are just a few of the products grown within 25 miles of Albany. This isn’t a complete listing of every farm nearby (there are way too many!) but just a sampling of some local farms that offer direct sales and u-picks. Many farm stands are seasonal; contact the farm before you make the trip.

Grandpa’s Fresh Market: Indoor farm store with fruits and veggies, plus u-pick produce. 35483 Hwy 226, Albany. 

Bob’s Blueberrry Hill Farm: Blueberry farm open daily from sunrise until sunset, July-August. U-pick and pre-picked, seven varieties of blueberries. 34830 Meridian Rd., Lebanon.

Springbank Farm: Blueberry farm open for sales and u-pick July-August, plus blueberry wine for sale and tasting. 32264 Berlin Rd., Lebanon.
